Don’t Be Afraid To Ask Questions

Lord Good morning beloved, happy Wednesday,

Then Jesus asked, them, ‘Do you understand all these things?’ They said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord.’”

(Matthew 13:51).

Jesus told many parables, four of which are found in this chapter. There were some of the parables that Jesus gave the interpretation. to the disciples

In today’s verse Jesus wants to test their understanding. Not one of the the twelve spoke up. Or please explain it to us, Lord. Instead they all said understood the meaning.

How can we learn if we don’t understand and ask. As believers we are blessed to understand the Word through the Holy Spirit. He teaches all things.

Have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy

If we don’t understand, ask. Pastors, teachers, and commentaries can aid us.

Treating Others As We Want To Be Treated

-January 20, 204)

Good morning beloved, happyTuesday,

“Therefore, whatever you want men to do for you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”

(Matthew 7:12).

many erroneously believe that by keeping it they will earn God’s favor obtain salvation. There is nothing we can do, it is all about what Jesus did for us on the cross. Salvation: salvation is by grace by faith alone.

The meaning of this verse is to treat others as we want to be treated. We want to be treated with love, kindness, and respect. Therefore we should try treat others to that way; It isn’t always easy but it fulfills the the Law and the Prophets .

Have a blessed day loving God and others. Stay safe and healthy.

Loving others shows we love God.

Courage And Hope

January 19, 2026

Good morning beloved, happy Monday.

“Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you hope in the Lord.”

(Psalm 31;24).

Today is Marin Luther King Day. Dr. King was known as a man of peace and possessed both courage and hope. He believed he could the country through non-violence.

In the Christian life, we all need courage and hope to face our trials, troubles, challenges, and difficulties with the Lord.

Courage for today in what we are are going through. Courage pushes through our fears, knowing the Lord is in control.

Hope looks to the future based on God’s past faithfulness. Hope lets us look past our trials and sees a better and brighter future in heaven.

May the Lord strengthen our hearts with courage and hope. Have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.

There is nothing to fear, when Jesus is near,

It Is Not In Me

-January 18, 2026-

Good morning beloved, happy Lord’s Day,

Good morning beloved, happy Lord’s Day,

“So Joseph answered Pharaoh, “saying, ‘It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer.’”

(Genesis 41:16).

Pharaoh had an interesting, perplexing, dream. Pharaoh was troubled by it. None of Pharaoh’s s advisers could interpret it.

They brought Joseph out of prison after his interpretation of the dreams of the chief cupbearer and the chief baker. The pressure was on Joseph to come through once again, this time for Pharaoh.

Does it not remind us how Daniel interpreted two royal dreams. Both of them gave all the glory to God. There is always the temptation to take some credit for ourselves. We must remember it is not us. Satan uses our successes and victories against us. Even when Pharaoh exalted him to the prime minister over all Egypt, he stayed grounded and humble.

May we follow Joseph’s example, and remember it is not in us. Paul wrote in Galatians 6:14, “But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and to the world.”

Have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.

God is the One who gives us His strength and wisdom. Without Him we can do nothing.

Jesus Gives True Rest

-January 17, 2026-

Good morning beloved, happy Saturday,

“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

(Matthew 11;28).

Before we were saved we labored and were laden. Our sins weighted us down and we had no rest, no peace. Also through prayer and thanksgiving we experience the peace of God that passes all understanding.

Everyone needs and desires rest for their bodies. Jesus gives all types of rest, but most of all, He gives rest for the soul.

Let the world be in turmoil, strife, and trouble. We have rest and peace. It carries us through. Have a blessed day. Stay safe and healthy.

We can’t create our own peace. God’s rest and peace is from Him and lasts forever,
